Adhesion of Endodontic Sealers to Dentin and Gutta-Percha

Purpose: to assess adhesion of kerr, sealapex, AH26, Ketac endo to gutta percha  (GP) and dentin.

N= extracted un-erupted 3rd molars


•Tooth was sectioned 1 mm below deepest occlusal groove & 2 mm below the CEJ, GP 5 mm dimeter were obtained

•Top and bottom surfaces were polished, aluminum cylinders were stabilized on top. Filled with sealer. Left to set for 24 h at 100% humidity. •Tensile strength was tested using vitrodyne universal tester at cross-head speed 1 mm/min using 2 kg load.
