Summary:  

Purpose:

To present a modified matrix concept for repair of root perforations using mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA).

Materials and Methods:

 – n: 2  clinical cases with perforation repaired with MTA by using modified internal matrix technique and followed up for 5 years.

-Modified internal matrix technique: constituted the use of collagen matrix as barrier instead of hydroxyapatite and the use of MTA packed to the perf site without a pressure.
